What’s New @ Second Mile Church

Lots of things are ramping up when it comes to getting this church off the ground and impacting our community. Here’s a brief rundown just to keep you up to speed.

Missional Communities launch next week. We’ll start with five groups (two in Gilbert, two in Queen Creek, and one in Pinal County). This is our first step towards our church being more than just a Sunday event.

This Sunday we’re pulling our entire team together to talk through our core values and pray together. We’re meeting at 10:30am at EVBC in room 210/211. Other upcoming events are listed here.

We’re getting ready for the “Baby Shower” that EVBC is throwing for our new church. This will allow the people East Valley Bible Church, our sending church, to contribute to the start-up costs of our new church. A list of those costs can be found here.

We have a new logo!

We have been fully approved within the Acts29 Network and listed on their website. This has been a good process and these fellow churches are a great encouragement.

We’re less than two months from our first Preview Worship Gathering (on October 26). Please pray for us and spread the word!
